Care & Maintenance of Coastline Furniture. 

Coastline is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) lumber, an all-weather material that does not require sealing, painting or staining. It will not rot or splinter, and contains UV inhibitors that resist fading. Our lumber is not affected by most corrosive substances, and will not absorb moisture or promote bacterial growth. To maintain Coastline furniture you must simply clean it regularly with soap and water. For advanced cleaning, use a commercial composite deck cleaner found in most home improvement stores. Rinse well with fresh water. Avoid pressure washing. The stainless steel fasteners used to assemble your furniture are virtually maintenance free under normal conditions. Coastline uses quality stainless fasteners to assemble furniture; however in coastal areas hardware will require regular washing or rinsing with fresh water to avoid rusting. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Stainless steel hardware will rust in high salinity environments if not properly maintained as described.

Limited 10 Year Residential & 5 Year Commercial Warranty.
Coastline offers a limited warranty (for normal use) against the structural failure of our furniture for up to 10 years for residential use and up to 5 years for commercial use (both warranties are from date of purchase). We further warranty our furniture to be free from manufacturer defects in material and workmanship for up to 1 year from date of purchase. Coastline will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective furniture with the same or similar product (if discontinued) at no charge. No cash refunds will be made. Shipping and handling is not covered by this warranty.

Our material, although extremely durable to the elements, may fade when exposed to direct sunlight. Some elements may cause staining of the furniture surface. Fading and staining are excluded from this warranty.

Stainless steel fasteners are guaranteed not to fail structurally for a period of up to 10 years for residential use and 5 years for commercial use (from date of purchase). Stainless steel may rust in certain extreme conditions if not maintained as outlined under the "Care and Maintenance of Coastline Furniture" section. Rusting hardware or structural failure due to rusting hardware is not covered by this warranty.

Cushions are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for one year. Compression of cushions is not covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not cover the failure of furniture which, in our opinion, was caused by acts of God, accident, neglect, exposure to extreme heat or fire, abuse or improper shipping or handling and is void if our care and maintenance instructions were not properly followed.

This warranty applies to Coastline furniture manufactured after October 1, 2011 and applies to the original purchaser only.

If you require warranty assistance, please contact Coastline Customer Service in writing at 11 Industrial Drive, Coventry R.I. 02816 or by email at customerservice@coastlinecasual.com. Proof of purchase is required; photographs are helpful and may also be required to process a warranty claim. In the event the factory requires the return of furniture, you will receive a "return authorization" number that must accompany the return. Returned furniture must be properly packaged and arrive "prepaid" with the R/A number visible or it will not be accepted.

Solid as a Rock Unlike sheet molded products, our frames are constructed with HDPE lumber components that are designed to withstand temperature and load changes. Structural aluminum is used to reinforce critical frame members in key locations. The result is a product that will not tip, topple, or turn over on your patio, deck, or lawn.
